Homes for Sale in San Antonio, Oakland, CA

San Antonio is a mostly residential district of the city of Oakland, California. 14th Avenue bounds the community to the northwest, E 21st Street, 23rd Avenue, and Foothill Boulevard to the northeast, the Sausal Creek to the southeast, and International Boulevard to the southwest. The suburb is split into two distinct neighborhoods along Miller Avenue with Oak Tree to the east and Rancho San Antonio to the west. Like many other communities in the eastern part of Oakland, the area serves mostly as a convenient home location for busy professionals working in Downtown Oakland and the nearby shopping and commercial districts near Fruitvale. There are a couple of schools and the San Antonio Park available to residents in the neighborhood, making the area an excellent option for those looking to move into a new home in Oakland with their family.

The typical home model in the area includes the modest Victorian-style homes which feature lovely wood exteriors, large windows, and comfortable two-floor layouts. Most of the residences with this type of design were built in the 1900s and retain the unique character and charm of the era. The second most common home type in the neighborhood is bungalow-type homes that were developed or replaced some of the older homes in the community. These two home types typically come with three bedrooms, one bath, a fenced front yard and backyard, and a driveway to park your car. Inside you’ll find the typical suburban architecture with a living room, eat-in kitchen, and dining. Floor spaces of these residences start at 800 sqft up to 1,200 sqft. There are also lots of multi-family homes in San Antonio perfect for those looking to purchase a rental property to generate additional income from a real estate investment. These apartment type homes are excellent as there’s a high demand for apartments in the region.
